Neil is originally from Perth, Western Australia, where for the past 12 years Neil has worked as a Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist. He is also a Triathlon & Running Coach, and since 2013 has been helping clients achieve their goals in a safe and fun manner.
Having studied both a Bachelor of Sports Science (Honours, ECU, 2003) and a Masters of Physiotherapy (Curtin, 2007), Neil is able to blend physiotherapy treatment with exercise and movement therapy to help his clients both feel better and move better. In the past year he was involved in research into nerve pain in the lower back at Notre Dame University, and he has a special interest reviewing clients with complex or chronic pain conditions.
As an athlete, Neil has competed in a variety of endurance events, including two Ironman triathlons, several multi-day bike tours and many marathons. He is a big believer in challenging yourself with a variety of movement, and has tried everything from martial arts to Olympic weight-lifting to Yoga to slack-lining. As a newbie to the cold climate of Queenstown, he will be adding snow sports to the list this winter!
