Sarah graduated from the University of Sydney in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. She worked in a large hospital in Sydney before moving to the UK for 2 years working as a physiotherapist there. Upon return to Sydney she then commenced working with sports teams and injuries and orthopaedic rehabilitation with a special interest in soccer, surfing, ballet and rugby.
Sarah’s professional development and further training has focused on around orthopaedic manual therapy and body mechanics including kinesio taping, muscle energy for the pelvis, spine and neck, clinical Pilates and shoulder rehabilitation. Additionally she is a pain management and lymphoedema therapist and utilises her skills in these areas for orthopaedic rehabilitation and swelling management. Sarah has an holistic approach to the body using methods from a range of sub-specialties.
Sarah then owned and managed a large clinic and hospital department in Sydney for 7 years before relocating to Queenstown in 2017. She worked alongside 20 orthopaedic surgeons and was involved in the acute and long term management of sports and orthopaedic injuries / surgery as well as significant injuries including amputation and those from motor vehicle accidents and trauma.
Sarah has a young family and enjoys an active lifestyle with plenty of skiing in the winter.
